ABOUT
THE AUTHOR
GARY
HANSEN is a product of the west. He wrote WET DESERT
while living in Mission Viejo, California where he worked as an
electrical engineer for twenty-years and often visited the
Colorado River on weekends.
Gary
is an avid outdoorsman and loves water-skiing, snow skiing, dirt
biking, hiking, and camping. He is an emeritus SCUBA Instructor,
and has dived at locations all over the world.
Gary
was raised on a dairy farm in Cache Valley, Utah, in the small
town of Trenton (pop. 450).
He
is a graduate of Utah State University (B.S.E.E.) and Pepperdine
University (M.B.A.). He recently returned to Utah and lives in
Kaysville. He and his wife, Becca, have four children.
